Line A of the metro Toulouse restarted Thursday January 12, 2023, around 12:15 p.m., after more than three hours of breakdown.
Line A was stopped from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., between Balma-Gramont and Basso Cambo.
“Breaking Circuit Breaker”
It is a power supply fault at the Arènes station, “a circuit breaker that jumped”, according to the explanations provided by Tisséo to Toulouse news.
After a series of tests, the metro was able to resume at midday to the delight of users who suffered the mess to get on the substitute buses all morning.
The mess to get on the buses
Line 14 indeed connects Basso Cambo and Marengo SNCF. For a journey between Marengo SNCF and Balma-Gramont, it was advisable to take line A’. Finally, line 13 served the Bagatelle, Mermoz, Fontaine-Lestang and Saint-Cyprien République stations.
Never enough to compensate for the high capacity of a metro and, in fact, the wait was long to get on the buses this Thursday morning.
