Avignon, a city in which to invest in 2023
It is one of the cheapest cities in the south of France, even though its prices have risen by more than 20% in 5 years. A boon for investors looking for profitability.
Renowned for its festival and its historical heritage, the City of the Popes also displays some of the most attractive real estate values in Provence. Both the theater festival and the famous Palais des Papes fuel the seasonal rental market, which complements year-round rentals, particularly for students. But Avignon is also a land of contrasts, where 60% of the population rents and where 3 out of 10 inhabitants live below the poverty line. However, the rental market knows neither the crisis nor the control of rents.
