From the setting in the English village of Woodleigh Common, we are now Venice and, in addition to the aforementioned Branagh and Scamarcio, the young Californian Kyle Allen will be involved, much loved by his peers, the French Camille Cottin, and with them Jamie Dornan and Tina Fey.

PLACES
All the “classic” filming locations in Venice.
In the San Boldo area in Santa Croce, on the other hand, “da casada” poles will be “planted”, to give the impression of historic mooring posts decorated with stripes (we are in the years after the Second World War). L’homocide of a young woman thirteen, foreseen by the script (scripted by Michael Green), and on which Poirot will investigate, also foresees collective scenes with young protagonists: seven gondolas mobilized for the scenes with about twenty extras, transiting from the Miracoli to the rio that overlooks the back of the Theater Malibran. Branagh himself spoke, with regard to “A Haunting in Venice”, of unusual atmospheres for the famous protagonist of Agatha Christie: certainly, the leaden Venice of these days will add mysterious charm to the filming, which will add up to moments recreated in London Pinewood Studios in London.
What is not yet known is the role assigned to the Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio: the screenplay, in fact, is still strictly top secret.
