Toulouse: repeated power cuts in the Casselardit sector
Three faults in three days at the Jean Brunhes-Avenue de Grande-Bretagne power station in Toulouse have caused three power outages in the Casselardit sector since the start of 2023.
Nothing to do with a possible load shedding or the big power cut feared for the winter! A power outage occurred this Wednesday, January 4, 2023 around 2 p.m. following a malfunction on an underground cable at the Jean Brunhes/Avenue de Grande-Bretagne substation, according to Enedis, causing the Toulouse-Casselardit sector to lose power. Less than eight hundred people were affected by this cut which lasted less than half an hour, the services of Enedis intervening quickly, while the agents worked in the afternoon to permanently repair the breakdown.
Incidents in the night
This incident follows two power outages that occurred on 1uh and January 3, 2023 following two other defaults in this sector. Interruptions passed almost unnoticed, because having revealed themselves in the middle of the night, and quickly repaired, apart from a few disturbed electric clocks in the morning.
