The new Covid data, new locations and times for vaccination in Pisa
FLORENCE – There are 956 new cases of Covid registered in the last 24 hours in Tuscany and five deaths. In the latter case, these are elderly people with an average age of 82 and registered in the provinces of Florence, Grosseto, Lucca, Prato and Siena. In the first case, the new positives emerge from the 6412 tests carried out with a contagion rate of 14.9%. The number of hospitalizations rises by 8 units, reaching 457, of which 16 are in Intensive Care.

In the meantime, the Usl Toscana northwest company informs that starting from Monday 9 January, the location and times of the sessions to carry out the anti-Covid vaccines will change. The vaccines will be administered to the Prevention Department at the Gerace Gallery on Monday and Tuesday in the morning and on Friday in the afternoon. The Drive Throughs in via Bellatalla and Ospedaletto will remain on site but will be open on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Tuscany has around 42,572 overall cases per 100,000 inhabitants since the beginning of the pandemic (between residents and non-residents). At the moment, the notification province with the highest rate is Lucca (with 44,671 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), followed by Livorno (44,045) and Pisa (43,963). The lowest concentration is found in Prato (with a rate of 38,714).
