the Government to support the most affected activities with extraordinary interventions
Work support in times of energy emergency: this is the basic logic that follows the decree-law which the Government resolved to adopt in the session of last December 29th. Decree which therefore aims to be an aid to businesses and consequently to employees, “for the need to contain the negative effects of rising energy costs on the socio-economic fabric of San Marino, introducing”, precisely, – reads the resolution – “temporary support measures aimed at operators in difficulty due to the increase in raw material prices”.
Measures in force until 31 December 2023 which focus in particular on Redundancy Fund Earnings, for example “in the case of temporary market situations”, regulating access but also the cases in which shock absorbers and social protection cannot be granted; then theSanction aspect; then extraordinary provisions on fixed-term contracts and secondments.
The decree-law looks at the same time “at the urgency of strengthening, maintaining, immediately guaranteeing the instruments of job protection”, “to allow companies to carry out their business even in times of extraordinary crisis”. Next to the measures, the dutiful verify the real effects of the international context on the activity of economic operators and on employment, in total agreement with the trade union organizations and trade associations.
