charity event for patients “With all my heart” started in Belarus

At the initiative of the head of state, voiced at the charity holiday dedicated to the action “Our Children”, the republican charity action against diseases “With all my heart” was launched, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
Organizers involved in providing them with assistance and support, development of the intergenerational type “from children to the elderly.” For young people, this is a new experience, which, probably, shows its spiritual qualities, and for someone – it is determined with a future profession on the eve of a professional holiday – the Day of Social Protection Workers.
The action was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the Ministry of Education together with the associations “Belarusian Republican Youth Union” and “Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization”.
Now there are more than 120,000 lonely sick citizens in the country who are in dire need of communication and attention for the New Year holidays. At the same time, about 20 thousand more diseases occur in stationary medical care institutions, and per 100 thousand people, organized by day care and leisure activities by territorial public service centers.
The events from 3 to 14 January collect greetings from patients in social care institutions, nursing hospitals, as well as during home visits. Meetings of the older and younger generations will be held in the format of tea parties, round tables, concerts, theatrical and other performances will be organized. Particular attention will be given to centenarians who will celebrate their anniversary during the action period.
Congratulate people with diseases not only of children and youth, but also with the defeat of authorities, state bodies and other organizations, deputies. Anyone can join the good initiative.
In the social services system on New Year’s holidays, congratulations of sick people are usually observed. From December 15 to January 2, almost 2 thousand events took place in social service institutions (concert programs, festive tea parties, New Year’s lights, etc.), in which about 50 thousand older citizens took part.-0-
