Karaismailoğlu, who stated that they continued throughout the infrastructure in the direction of Osmaneli-Yenişehir, gave the following information:
The scope of infrastructure works between the beginning of the route and the 48th kilometer, 2 million 100 thousand cubic meters of excavation and 350 thousand cubic meters of permanent filling were made. We also continue the coating concrete works in the tunnels. 28 thousand cubic meters of concrete casting is permanent in the underpass, culvert, bridge and vial works, and 32 percent progress has been achieved. The project continues its effects rapidly. In the Bursa-Yenişehir direction, the first 10 kilometers of superstructure received from TCDD is preserved. The lower ballast and ballast laying productions were also completed in the first 2 kilometers of this load. We also continue the production of sleepers and rails. tons of rails have also arrived at the site and a superstructure rail will be taken to be shipped. The duration and travel times of this project will be approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes between Ankara-Bursa and Bursa-Istanbul.”
EMEK-YHT GAR-ŞEHİR HOSPITAL METRO LINE
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu stated that another important rail system projects ongoing in Bursa is the Emek-YHT Station-Şehir Hospital Metro Line.
Noting that they took over the construction of the line with the transfer management signed between Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure on June 8, 2020, Karaismailoğlu explained that the rail system in Bursa will reach 52 kilometers at the beginning of the project.
Expressing that Bursa residents will have easier access to intercity transportation and health services, Karaismailoğlu continued as follows:
“The two most important stops of the line are the high-speed train station and the hospital station. With the integration of the Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli YHT Line, which is under construction, and the metro, a comfortable and punctual option is offered for the high-speed train access of all of Bursa. Our project includes a warehouse area and 2 The Görükle extension with a station is also included. The construction activities in this section will also be carried out in the coming days. This new facility will also serve the parking area with maintenance and repair of all metro vehicle management. After the existing Emek Station, the first 1300 meters of the line will be crossed at level. Then, the construction of the line will be carried out by cut-and-cover method and our corridor line will work as a system that passes under the streets and does not occupy any surface area. We have excavated 480 thousand cubic meters so far, we have placed 12 thousand 400 piles of 250 thousand meters, we have poured 130 thousand cubic meters of concrete. .During our work, I have implemented my traffic circulation projects so that they do not adversely affect the daily lives of the people of Bursa. We also succeeded. We started measurements on alternative side roads in the working environment, we did 22 thousand 900 square meters of asphalt paving work and we continue to do so.”
