Start of the preparations – FC Red Bull Salzburg
Next Wednesday our team started preparing for the upcoming spring season. Performance tests at the start will then be followed by the first team training session on the grass on Thursday at the Taxham training centre. All in all, our lads have four and a half weeks of training, four friendlies and a training camp to be planned for the beginning of February, where it starts with the same high intensity and three home games (Sturm Graz, Austria Lustenau, AS Roma) in three different competitions. The first few days of the new year will be correspondingly intensive. After the start of training on Thursday, there are two units each on Friday and Saturday before Matthias Jaissle lets it go with a morning training session on Sunday.
training schedule
Matthias Jaissle and his (supervisory) team leave well rested after the holiday phase and full of anticipation in this first phase:
World Cup participants, returnees and Liefering youngsters
Three of the four World Cup participants are there right from the start. Only Luka Sucic, with the Croatian team in the small World Cup final, joins a little later, namely on January 8th. The returnees Amankwah Forson (from Altach) and Daouda Guindo (from St. Gallen) are also in training. Youngster and cooperation player Karim Konate is raised by FC Liefering.
