Istanbul announced the month of December
December figures for Istanbul were announced.
According to the regulations made by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), the Istanbul Wage Wage Index, which is an indicator of retail price movements, increased by 2.94 percent compared to the previous month, and the Wholesale Price Index, which measures wholesale price movements, increased by 3.71 percent.
“The rate of change compared to the same month of the previous year”, which shows the price changes last month compared to December 2021, was 92.97 percent in the ITO 1995 based Wage Wage Index and 81.31 percent in the Wholesale Price Index.
7 PERCENT INCREASE IN PERSONAL CARE EXPENDITURES
Compared to the previous month, in December, retail prices were 7.04 percent in health and personal care expenditures, 3.89 percent in household goods, 3.82 percent in housing expenditures, 3.07 percent in other expenditures, 3.06 percent in food expenditures, and clothing expenditures. A decrease of 1.18 percent, a decrease of 0.50 percent in culture, education and entertainment expenditures, and a decrease of 3.09 percent in transportation and transmission expenditures were observed.
In December 2022, in wholesale prices, compared to the previous month, construction materials content is 10.65 percent, chemical materials are 6.15 percent, unprocessed materials are 4.31 percent, foodstuffs are 3.43 percent, mineral materials are 3 percent, 23, textile groups decreased by 1.10 percent, fuel and energy components decreased by 2.44 percent.
