Drake shares footage of his arrest in Sweden
Drake has seemingly confirmed that he was arrested in Sweden last summer and shared photos of the incident online.
In July 2022 speculation on social media suggested that the Canadian star had been taken into custody by local police at a nightclub in Stockholm with the term “free Dragon”trending on Twitter.
Representatives of the rapper then denied that he had been arrested before Drake himself hinted that the alleged incident actually took place. In a post on Instagram, Drake appeared to hint that he actually had some interaction with Swedish authorities, sharing a photo of a document from the National Police Board, titled “Information for those suspected of a crime and later detained.”
Now, to close out 2022, Drake shared a new Instagram post that seemed to confirm the event. A brief caption read: “The means are useful / the lyrics are truthful / the suspects are common / the opponents are delusional / the finish line is beautiful / and the disrespect is mutual / see you in 23.”
Alongside it, he shared a photo of himself and collaborators 21 Savage as well as phone videos that apparently show him in custody in Sweden.

Elsewhere have pages of ancient lyrics apparently written by Drake found in a dumpster in Memphis.
TMZ reports that the handwritten lyrics were written at a time when the Toronto rapper was working on music at his uncle’s factory in Memphis, and were found in the dumpster when the factory closed. However, it has not been possible to determine the exact year when they may have been written.
One page contains the lyrics to a song called “Come Spring”: “We’re in the age of conflict and knowledge / But we’re trapped in this cage of barbed wire and wreckage with the freedom to go to college / The freedom to indulge and dissolve ourselves in the process / The law says / You’ve witnessed / An audience of the race of silence.”
This may or may not relate to Drake’s early track “Come Winter,” which was included on his 2006 mixtape “Room For Improvement.”
