Bus and metro, how to get around Rome from 2 to 8 January 2023
Spend the Christmas holidays of 25 and 26 December and the end of the year weekend with new Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Roman public transport is preparing to experience the last day of winter festivities, that of the Epiphany on January 6th. This is why Atac let us know how the service will be in the next few days, with Romans and tourists crowding archaeological sites, the shopping streets of the centre, Piazza Navona and the city’s museums.
From today Monday 2 January until Thursday 5 January (day, among other things, the start of the winter sales in Rome and Lazio) the Atac service will be in non-school working mode, while Friday 6 January, Epiphany day, will be enhanced holiday service across the entire network. The metro will make the last run at 1.30 while Atac will enhance the bus lines 75-44-46-53-60-70-74-80-85-160-170-301-492-705-714-913-990. The night bus network has also been strengthened on the night of 6/7 January: follow the weekend timetable.
