Happy New Year 2023! On this day after New Year’s Eve, if you prefer to get some fresh air or do activities, this Sunday January 1, 2023, some sites will continue to welcome the public. Nevertheless, here is what remains open or not to Paris.
What is open
- The tennis courts municipalwith the exception of Porte de Bagnolet
- Some food markets (consult timetables here): Saint-Eustache-Les Halles, the Red Children, Monge, Raspail, Saint-Germain, Alibert, Saint-Martin, Bastille, Beauvau, Porte Dorée, Bercy, Auguste-Blanqui, Maison-Blanche, Joan of Arc, Villemain , Brune, Convention, Grenelle, Point du Jour, Passy, Ternes, Batignolles, Ornano, La Chapelle, Ney, Place des Fêtes, Joinville, Jean-Jaurès, Mortier, Reunion, Pyrenees.

To note that parking will be free in Paris, like all public holidays and Sundays.

As for museums, monuments and cultural sites, some will continue to welcome the public on Christmas Day, such as the Zoological Park, the Jardin d’Acclimatation, the Aquarium of Paris, the Center Pompidou, the Grévin Museum, the Institut from the Arab world, the Eiffel Tower…

Shopping centers
On the side of Department Stores and shopping centersusually open on public holidaysmost remain closed this Sunday, January 1: Printemps Haussmann, Galeries Lafayette, the Forum des Halles, the shops of Bercy Village, the Center Beaugrenelle, the BHV Marais, the Passage du Havre, Citadium Caumartin, Italie 2, Le Bon Marché, Les Gaîté workshops…
On the other hand, the Samaritan remains open.
