Lukashenka legalized his life-long participation in the inspection of Belarus

“It is provided that a member of the Council of the Republic, for vital reasons, is the President of Belarus, who has ceased to perform his duties,” the statement on the official website says.
Changes were made to the law “On the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus”. From December 30, instead of two parliamentary sessions a year, one will be held. Extraordinary sessions will no longer be called by the president, but by the head of the chamber.
It is noted that in the case of a vacant position of the President, the position of the head of state should hold the position of Chairman of the Council of the Republic of Belarus. At the moment, this position is held by Natalia Kochanova.
“In addition, the ranks of the administration of the Parliament, which were transferred to the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, have been excluded,” the statement says.
The meeting is about holding a trial of the Constitutional Court and the Central Election Commission. In addition, the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly will deal with the main vectors of the country’s policy and issues related to military doctrine.
