Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal called the strategic tasks of Ukraine to meet the criteria for joining the European Union by the end of 2024. He said this at the government meeting on Friday, he reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“For this year, in the conditions of war, we received five so-called visa-free visas from the EU. What was planned to be done for years, we did in 10 months,” Shmyhal said.
The Prime Minister reminded that it is about: “energy visa-free”, “transport visa-free”, “economic visa-free”, “customs visa-free” and “digital visa-free”.
“This is just the tip of the whole job. Hundreds of normative acts have already been adopted so that our legislation is fully in line with European legislation. Two more are being prepared for adoption next year. Our strategic task is to meet the admission criteria by the end of 2024,” the Prime Minister said.
so far, the government has announced the indexation of pensions next year.
Denys Shmyhal also told how the Russians were preparing for massive shelling of Ukraine.
