Press Release: Serie A Baseball 2023: San Marino to defend its title in a 30-team league
With regard to the reconstructions that have appeared in the media in recent days, sometimes quite fanciful, relating to “clashes” between the Federation and the company San Marino ASD and, in more detail, between the President Andrea Marcon and Alberto Antolini, it is confirmed that they have never relations between the parties have been interrupted and that, indeed, they have always continued, despite the diversity of views, with the utmost respect and courtesy, as also confirmed on the occasion of recent interviews.
Today, the San Marino ASD company confirmed its participation in the 2023 Serie A championship after it had paid the registration fee within the deadline for participation in the top Italian baseball championship, where it will defend the title won in 2022 at the end of one of the most exciting final series in history.
Considering the defections registered at the time of registration (Draghi di Castelfranco Veneto and Accademia di Nettuno), the Federal Council of Fibs will make changes to the formula which will not undergo any distortion in any case. In the coming days, meetings will be scheduled to illustrate these changes to the participating companies.
