During the period of martial law, a total of 10,500 tons of medical humanitarian aid in the amount of UAH 12,850 million arrived in Ukraine. About this be Government portal.
This is help from more than 35 countries of the world, from international and partner organizations, from Ukrainian and foreign businesses, and from medical institutions of other countries.
which arrived:
- medicines — 480,559,363 units;
- consumables and personal protective equipment — 133,020,948 units;
- tools — 194,339 units;
- complex sets — 13,924 units;
- equipment — 302,192 units;
- equipped tactical first-aid kits — 137,278 units;
- medical furniture — 618 units;
- medical transport — 405 units;
- body armor and helmets for medical workers — 1,632 units;
- other — 59,496,094 units.
The Ministry of Health distributes this defense aid not only to health care facilities under its control, but also to communal and departmental facilities, in particular to those under the control of the security and safety structure. All humanitarian aid is distributed on a priority basis. The first is to cover the needs of medical facilities located in and near the combat zone, as well as those used to treat the wounded. In addition, the focus of institutions is on regions with a large number of internally displaced persons.
Humanitarian aid is unloaded at warehouses near the state border, there it is accounted for, and then distributed and delivered to the regions according to priority results. It is important to note that the collection of medical needs, the accounting of residues in regional warehouses and health care facilities, as well as the distribution of medical humanitarian aid is carried out through the “MedData” information and analytical system, which ensures controllability and transparency of the process.
During the war, you can also establish cooperation with volunteers and benefactors to coordinate interaction and provide prompt medical needs.
