Stade Toulousain has succeeded in recruiting widely this season, particularly in its back line, with many arrivals including Melvyn Jaminet, Ange Capuozzo, Paul Graou, Arthur Retière and Pierre-Louis Barassi. The latter, who arrived from Lyon LOU as a Lyon executive, attributed himself in the columns of Rugbyrama to his integration into the Toulouse game.
As talented as he is, the 24-year-old center admitted without concessions that he had difficulty in appropriating Stade Toulousain’s game plan, but he reassures, he is now ready to give the best of himself:
”From a personal point of view, obviously I’m not 100% satisfied. It’s starting to go back to normal, I feel better and better. I didn’t play a lot of matches in the first part of the season, in particular because I had physical problems but also because I wasn’t 100% in the Toulouse project. Today it’s on the right track, I want to capitalize and have playing time, hoping that the injuries are behind me.
It’s a new club, it’s the first time I’ve changed teams, it takes time. I also have to let things happen, and must not be too demanding too quickly.”
