Slovenia is sending the fourth shipment of energy equipment to Ukraine
Slovenia sent the fourth shipment of energy equipment to Ukraine, which includes 88 transformers, three generators and other devices needed by the energy industry.
Ambassador of Ukraine Andrij Taran and Slovenian Minister of Infrastructure Bojan Kumer attended the deployment ceremony on December 29, reports Ukrinform with reference to Embassy of Ukraine in Slovenia.
“Nine Slovenian companies joined together around the tender of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Slovenia and prepared a total of 88 transformers of various powers, three generators, isolators, voltage switches and other energy equipment,” the embassy announced.
Ukrainian diplomats said that the first two trucks with Slovenian aid have already arrived in Khmelnytskoblenerga and will soon be distributed according to the needs of the regions.
The embassy wrote that the Slovenian Minister of Infrastructure said in a speech at the event that Slovenia intends to continue helping Ukraine to the best of its ability as long as it is necessary.
Taran thanked Slovenia for the humanitarian aid and pointed out how symbolic today is, when Russia once again carried out a large-scale missile attack on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.
