While the Munich leaders wanted to repatriate him during this winter transfer window, the 26-year-old doorman put an end to the rumors:
“It doesn’t make much sense for me to come back. I don’t know how bad Manuel’s injury is. But I think he will be fit again by the summer, at the latest in preparation for next season. I’m crossing my fingers for him. I’m very happy here and I still have a lot of games ahead of Monaco. I’ve realized here how important playing games is. I don’t want to worry about it anymore. pass. In the end, AS Monaco have the last word, I am under contract here. First they would have to give the signal that they want to do it. I think it will be very difficult.”
Bayern Munich should therefore quickly look into the Yann Sommer case in January. The Swiss goalkeeper would hold the rope to replace Neuer until the end of the season. Case to follow.
