What Russian sounds are not heard and should not be repeated. From Slavic to China
The linguists are chosen, which sounds the Russians cannot hear and cannot demand. It turned out that Russian-speaking people have problems with at least eight types of sounds of foreign or phrasal speech – from Slavic to Chinese.
The first on the list was a sound that was in Russian speech, but ceased to be in the Republic. It was customary to block it with the letter “yat”. This sound was something between “and” and “in”.
In second place is Slavic affricatization, when there are cases of appearance as a fused sensation of pleasant dental occlusive cases with fricatives, the portal writes. “Russian Seven”.
For example, in some Slavic languages ”d” and “t” are found as “dz” and “c”. Therefore, Belarusians often say “hadzits” instead of “walk” or “Vladzimir” instead of “Vladimir”. The Russians did not hear the sound “z”.
Third place went to nasal vowels, which are widely used in French. Many words, such as bon (“good”), are spoken through the nose in French. Russian people cannot speak like that, and they just pronounce the word as it is written – “bon”.
The fourth place is behind the interdental sounds that are found in Russian. Most Russian-speaking people in the study of the English language faced a problem when choosing a combination of letters “th” – three. They heard the sound “z” or “s”. But in reality it is neither. To perceive this sound, it is necessary to strengthen the tip of the tongue between the upper and lower teeth, which is not very typical for Russian articulation.
Fifth place – “narrow” events. Another unproduced sound from France. Russians pronounce the name Luke simply and abruptly. The French, on the other hand, stretch their lips on the “u”, which is why the sound is different. The Russians most often not only cannot reproduce it, but also do not hear the differences between their own and the French sector.
Sixth place – oriental guttural sounds. In some Eastern cases, the sound “a” occurs, which occurs due to pressing the root of the tongue. For example, Caucasians always speak with a guttural accent. The Russians cannot reproduce this.
Seventh place – posterior lingual sounds. Used by Arab and northern peoples. Because of this, the name of Lake Baikal has changed in Russian. it was “Baigal”, but “g” was back-lingual, and no one could perceive it, except for the indigenous local population.
Eighth place – tonal sounds found in Chinese and Vietnamese. In Chinese, from 4 to 9 tones are used, in Vietnamese – 18. The sounds and meanings of words change.
