” The million, the million ! » Tuesday, December 27, 2022, Teleothe urban cable car Toulouserecorded its millionth validation since its launch on May 14.
A milestone reached in seven months
It therefore took seven months to reach this milestone. For Tisséo, this million is proof of the “true success” of Téléo. “It found its audience from the start,” says Jean-Michel Lattes, president of Tisséo Collectivités and Tisséo Ingénierie.
Since its commissioning, the cable car has, according to Tisséo, an availability of around 99.3%. The beginnings of Téléo were nevertheless tied to several breakdowns, including one in the middle of a heat wave.
For the public transport network of the Toulouse agglomeration, do not worry: these interruptions are due to “the so-called period of ‘debugging’ of this type of very technical system”.
Paul-Sabatier, Rangueil and the Oncopole in 10 minutes
In addition to offering a breathtaking view of the Pink City, the Garonne and the Pyrenees, Téléo connects Paul-Sabatier University, Rangueil and the Oncopole in just 10 minutes.
This urban cable car – the longest in France – can also carry up to 34 travelers in one of its 15 cabins.
