This book, written in particular by two Monegasques, presents very beautiful photos of an extraordinary expedition to the South Pole.

Both left, in 2021, aboard the sailboat Sir Ernst alongside Hervé Perrin (also co-author) and Noël Mariot. The four friends left the Mediterranean shores in 2021 to reach Antarctica in 2022, at 67° south, Marguerite Bay, in the wake of the pioneers. In this book, prefaced by Prince Albert II: superb photographs, but also excerpts from the logbook and quotes from the pioneers Charcot and Shackleton.
As related Monaco Morning, François Miribel and Fabrice Papazian, both members of the Yacht Club of Monaco, presented their work within the Club on December 21st. the work Sir Ernst, more than a sailboat in Antarctica is on sale at a price of 42 euros. It should be noted that 10% of the proceeds are reversed to research against childhood cancer.
