“Meeting of Friends” in Hanoi dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Vietnam
December 27, Minsk / Corr. BELTA/. As part of a cycle of events held on the 30th anniversary of the conclusion of deals between Belarus and Vietnam, a “Meeting of Friends” was held in the Hanoi House of Friendship. This was told to a BelTA correspondent at the Belarusian foreign mission in Hanoi.
The guests were greeted by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov. The diplomat opened an archival photo exhibition of the first visit of President Ho Chi Minh to Minsk, which took place 65 years ago.
The head of the disclosure of the mission specified that this event is one of the most important foundations of the mystery and the mystery of reading between peoples. A documentary video chronicle of those events was presented to the attention of those present.
As Nguyen Tuan Phong, chairman of the Vietnam-Belarus Friendship Society, noted in his speech, later high-level visits and ties of people’s diplomacy made bilateral relations even closer. It was noted that the pledged obligations include obligations to conclude relations between Vietnam and Belarus.
During the event, Belarusian folk and Vietnamese patriotic songs were also performed live. A Belarusian source of materials about the nature, history and culture of our country was presented. The participants, among whom were representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Vietnam, diplomats, representatives of government agencies, cultural figures, activists of the “Vietnam-Belarus” society, as well as graduates of Belarusian universities from among Vietnamese citizens, found themselves tasting scientific elections in Belarus, as well as exchanging congratulations on the occasion meeting the onset of the New Year holidays.
The meeting was organized with the support of the Vietnamese Union of Public Associations and met in the Vietnamese media.-0-
