Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė congratulates the people of Lithuania on St. on the occasion of Christmas. The politician wants to believe that even in a very cloudy sky we will be able to see the Star of Hope. I wish you to be healthy, safe and happy.
dear ones,
I want to congratulate you all on St. at Christmas.
It is a celebration of hope, faith and fellowship that is born in each of our hearts, and no amount of turmoil or trials can take it away.
This holiday season, let’s notice even more clearly how much we can be thankful for. It is amazing that even in a very cloudy sky we will be able to see the Star of Hope, if only we look for it very well.
For me, the essence of Christmas is more revealed by the decorated Christmas tree in Bucha, Ukraine, which is lit not by lights, but by the hearts of the local residents. It is a strong symbol of hope’s victory over all darkness.
Let’s celebrate Christmas full of love, faith and compassion for those who are especially hard right now. Let us support the people of Ukraine in whatever way we can. It is the best gift to humanity and hope that together we can clear even the darkest clouds. Let’s cultivate the spirit of giving, because sharing always makes us stronger.
I wish that with the New Year we let in a hopeful light that accompanies the path of determination, fellowship and caring for each other. Be healthy, safe and happy!
