Genoa, they kidnap and threaten a man: arrested – Primocanale.it
GENOA – They kidnapped him and threatened to torture him to find out who had stolen 100 kilos of cocaine from the port of Genoa.
A particular fact that ended with two arrests by the police, two South American citizens in handcuffs: Joel De Jesus Castillo Tapia, 34 years old and Holger Ernesto Wila Quinonez, 42 years old. The two ended up in jail last Saturday, after a normal road check, in via Pionieri and Aviatori d’Italia.
When the agents stopped the car on board were the two arrested and an Italian who, frightened, explained what was happening. “These two forced me into the car with them and kidnapped me. They wanted to kill me.” At the police station, the man explained that he had connections in the world of crime and that a year earlier he had received a phone call from an unknown person asking him to contact someone in the port to get a load of 100 kilos of drugs from South America out.
The man had sent him the contact of a person and had heard nothing more. Until Saturday evening when the two kidnappers showed up at the house and loaded him into the car and took him to a restaurant. Other people would arrive here and threaten him with death if he did not reveal where his contact was since the drugs had been stolen. The two had then loaded him into the car followed by the other foreigners. Investigations are underway, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Federico Manotti, to understand who the others are but, above all, there would be an investigation to understand who made the shipment of drugs disappear and where it ended up.
