Two cars collided on departmental road 16 between Annecy-le-Vieux and Alex (Haute-Savoie), this Friday, December 23. Around 3:45 p.m., this frontal impact which took place in the direction of Annecy, left five injured, including two graves according to information from the firefighters.

Six people are involved in this accident: the driver of a car and in the other vehicle, five members of the same family. Two people were seriously injured and three others slightly. They were evacuated to hospitals in Geneva and Annecy.
Departmental road 16 was cut in both directions during the intervention. This is the road that leads to the resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand.
