Monaco: Jordan Loyd could play against Milan with a mask, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot may forfeit
For this Friday’s Euroleague match, AS Monaco will possibly be able to count on Jordan Loyd while Armani Milan, already handicapped by numerous defections, is not certain to have international Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot.
In a press release, the club of the Principality indicates:
“Victim of an impressive injury in Madrid (broken nose with displacement), Jordan Loyd has just resumed collective training with an adapted protective mask. It is with happiness that Jordan was able to find his teammates with the ball in hand and the whole club is delighted with this comeback. A big player in the first part of the Roca Team’s hot season, Jordan Loyd (12.9 pts, 2.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 steals) is therefore very close to a return to competition. For this duel in Milan, a decision will be awarded during the day depending on the last training and the sensations of Jordan. »
As for Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, he has been bedridden since Sunday evening and the decision on his participation in the match will also be made at the last moment. The international averages 9.5 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
