In Moro: A new traditional and rustic trattoria in the city center | Italian
Stuck between rue St Fé and rue Paradis, in a little-known alley, Benjamin Moro decided to open his own version of the old-fashioned Italian trattoria. In a setting from another era, this new Marseille establishment offers you a warm space where you can have lunch and dinner in the simplicity and the to share.
Of the nearby, noise and good productsthis is what you promise benjamin moro. An owner with a sharp sense of humor who ironically decided to surf on a regional misnomer to find the name of his restaurant. In the Southeast, we are not going”chez Moro but in Moro hence the name of the restaurant“, we specify the head of the room with a smile.
But then what do we eat at “À Moro”?
If you are rather predators, you fell well. The map is about as vintage as the decor. But the best jam is made in old jars, isn’t it? Adrien Tran, former cook at Stolen Glass in Paris unveils on the tables of this Italian canteen, various traditional dishes as revisited.

In the program : Vitello Tonnato, Gnuddi and sage butter, Fennel sausage, mashed potatoes or Paccheri, Ragu Bianco de Boeuf. Only appetizing and comforting dishes for guests who wish to spend a real moment of sharing regardless of appearances. Because if an effort is made to make the dishes as beautiful as possible, some do not lend themselves at all to display 2.0 on the networks. And it’s very good like that!

Instagrammable or not, this establishment great success. Since its opening, and even if the place closes its doors on weekends, we walk around every day in a full house. At noon and on Thursday and Friday evenings when the team takes out white tablecloths to serve you, you have to book to hope to eat there.
A success that the trattoria also owes to its affordable rates. À Moro unashamedly displays a menu starter-main course or main course-dessert at 20€ and the winning starter-main course-dessert trio at €24.
