What are the terms and conditions of the Toulouse ZFE “petitsrouleurs” pass?
The town hall of Toulouse has unveiled the terms of the ZFE pass which will concern “small riders” and will allow them to brave this zone 52 times a year.
The town hall of Toulouse has decided to set up a pass allowing small riders of brave the low emission zone (ZFE) imposed by Europe and the State in the Pink City. Adopted last December 8 during a Metropolitan Council, this measure will be activated at the end of January. This is the time of its legal and technical implementation.
The terms of this pass, which can be used 52 times a year (one week on average), have been revealed by the authorities. They responded to the request for The Midi Dispatch on this subject :
The pass “will be limited to 52 days per year and will be aimed at both individuals and professionals, regardless of their place of residence. This is a provisional forecast for a period of three years”.
If you have an emergency, the ZFE pass does not help you
For this, a new approach will be created. The latter will be called ZFE Pass Waiver“. It will be necessary to create an account or use an existing account, always specifies the community. Remember that this pass is for vehicles classified Crit’Air 4 and 5. The latter, as well as the unclassified will be banned from the ZFE of Toulouse as of January 1, 2023. Low Emission Zones are implemented in agglomerations of more than 150,000 inhabitants. What will concern 45 areas in France by 2025. Their aim is to limit traffic to vehicles considered to be the most polluting, in order to improve air quality.
