Monaco would think of Huntelaar for its organization chart
De Telegraaf reports that former Dutch international striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is of interest to AS Monaco, in search of a new technical director.
AS Monaco’s next technical director may be Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. According to From Telegraafthe Principality club came into contact with the former Dutch international striker, who hung up his boots in the summer of 2021. Now aged 39, the 2010 vice-world champion holds the position of assistant sporting director Gerry Hamstra at Ajax.

Author of 158 goals and 43 assists in 257 games at Ajax, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar remained in Amsterdam after the end of his sports career. He first worked with Marc Overmars, the club’s sporting director until he was suddenly kicked out for inappropriate behavior around women.
Monaco are looking for a replacement for Laurence Stewart
ASM will soon part ways with their current technical director Laurence Stewart, who is due to join Chelsea after the winter transfer window (January 31). His next departure was announced in October by the Monegasque management. “I am very happy to have been able to participate in the evolution of the sports project and I will continue to devote all my energy to it until the end of my mission”, confirmed the person concerned.
Laurence Stewart arrived in June 2020, as head of recruitment and sports development. He had been promoted to technical director in the summer of 2021.
