INFO LA DEPECHE. South of Toulouse: leaving a discotheque, a young man disfigured with an iron bar and a jack
A violent fight between two young men degenerated on the night of December 9 in the south of Toulouse. The victim was disfigured with iron bars, baseball bats and a jack. Three young men were arrested.
Curled up on the ground, the victim receives a rain of blows on the face. She no longer moves, but some of her attackers still persist in hitting with a jack, an iron bar and a baseball bat. In the end, this man is left for dead when the attackers smoke the leak. But the three protagonists were found a week after the events, by the Muret research brigade.
Everything started on the night of Saturday, December 9. That evening, young people found themselves in a nightclub near Lavelanet-de-Comminges to party there, like a classic Saturday. While the evening is in full swing, several witnesses claim that an altercation broke out in this nightclub between two young men in their twenties. One of the two, a football player from a local club, is taken to task for having, it seems, a little too close to the other’s girlfriend. Then the words are quickly replaced by blows. After the intervention of the security guards of the nightclub, the two boys meet in Carbonne, their town of origin. These reunions take place in the middle of the night, when the town is almost deserted. Witnesses recount the violence and the large number of beatings. A young girl even reports having received a slap in the general cacophony.
A victim found inert, disfigured
What was supposed to be a fight between two people will take another, more dramatic turn. The evening turns to horror when a vehicle arrives at the height of the two young men fighting. The occupants of this vehicle join in the brawl. And these individuals do not arrive empty-handed. They are armed with an iron bar and a jack normally used to remove tires. The victim’s face is targeted, covered in blood. When help arrived, the young man was found, inert, disfigured and toothless. Very worried about his state of health, the firefighters rushed him to the nearest hospital.
At the same time, the gendarmes of the Muret company, seized by the prosecution in an investigation for “attempted murder”, launched the investigations. By dint of multiplying the hearings and the recovery of information, the soldiers quickly identify three people, suspected of having participated in this punitive expedition. They were arrested on Monday morning at their homes. These people, notably defended by Messrs Sarah Nabet-Claverie and Alexandre Parra-Bruguière, are all in their twenties. At the end of their hearings, the trio should be indicted this Wednesday for attempted murder.
