Entitled “the fishermen’s houses of Cassis in artistic light”, the show on the occasion of the end-of-year celebrations will illuminate the city center until January 1, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
A tribute to Christmas in Provence
Thanks to new three-dimensional artistic illumination technologies, this show highlights the historic center of Cassis (Bouches-du-Rhône) and its fishermen’s houses.
A real tribute to Christmas in Provence, the illuminations represent the ancient crafts of the provencal nativity scene. But you can also admire a starry sky, rock fish or chickens.
The illuminations were custom-made by Christian Salès from CS PROD Architectes des imaginaires (Lyon).
The municipality of the city assured that with the energy-efficient LED and laser lamps used for the illuminations, the project did not come into contradiction with their desire to reduce their energy consumption.
