I got kicked out of a restaurant because of my ‘inappropriate’ top – I still don’t see the problem, it was so disrespectful
A woman has hit out at restaurant staff after she was kicked out for her ‘inappropriate’ outfit.
Erika Helin, who won Miss Finland in 2018, was enjoying a night out in Helsinki earlier this month when he was approached by a security guard at an unnamed restaurant bar.
For a night out with friends, the beauty queen wore a pink heart patterned bracelet with a black tiered mini skirt and heels.
Although she was allowed into the facility, Erika claimed on Instagram that the staff backed down later in the evening and told her she had to leave.

The social media star – who has 116,000 followers – described the incident on her Instagram Stories as a “jerk”.
She wrote: “Suddenly the jerk came to pick me up and said I had to go [and] dragged me out of the bar.
Erika says she’s too upset to fight back in any way as he criticizes loudly [her] choice of outfit” and said it violated the restaurant’s dress code.
Although Erika still doesn’t see a problem with the outfit, she says she would have been happy to buy something from a local store if she had been told about the dress code in advance.
She paired the bracelet with a black miniskirt, which guards deemed “inappropriate.”
Erika complained to the manager and said the dress code should be clearer when she arrived
He continued: “I think it’s contradictory to even take a customer in if the outfit isn’t appropriate.
– It’s a bit sad that your own body is inherently obscene and causes reactions. I’m sad we’ve been customers for years but this one stuck [feeling] I’m really bad.’
Erika admitted that she doesn’t see a problem with her outfit, but added: “Maybe I’m too used to the dressing culture of my other country. [it’s] it’s much more relaxed there.
Erika, who felt “disrespected” by the incident, said she called the manager in the hope that the staff would learn “to act in similar situations so that no one is fired unnecessarily.”

Erika’s message sparked a heated debate, with some thinking that her outfits are more suitable for the beach
After this, he continued his feed with a series of pictures of the outfit and called the guard a “misogynist”.
However, the post sparked a debate in the comments – some thought the staff was right to kick Erika out.
One wrote: “It looks more like a bikini top and you can’t go to a bar in them.”
Another added: “It’s a good outfit to go to the BEACH.”
Meanwhile, a third said: “Totally inappropriate for a restaurant.”
Jumping to her defence, the fourth said: “Nothing you wear defines you. You are gorgeous, smart and clever… Don’t let other people’s words put you down.
“I don’t think you should have been thrown out of the restaurant without a mention [a dress code] in advance,” replied the Fifth. “Like what the hell is going on?”
