Heritage Lotto. Several sites hit the jackpot in Haute-Garonne and Occitanie: here is the list

Worn by Stéphane Bern, the Heritage Foundation unveiled on Monday, December 19, 2022 the amount of aid granted to each of the 100 sites selected in 2022.
An envelope of 20.1 million euros
The sums granted by the Heritage Mission supplement the public aid
or self-financing to meet the entire financing requirement (within the limit of
€300,000 per location). In total it is overall aid of 20.1 million euros that the 100 sites selected in France must share.
A personalized site the maximum help in Haute-Garonne
In Haute-Garonne, a site selected the maximum amount of aid, namely €300,000. it’s about the brickyard Ronde-Oustaulocated at low wallsouthwest of Toulouse.
This little-known former industrial site could therefore have a new life. The owners, supported by the artists already deposited on the site, wish to give the place a new callingoptimized around heritage, creativity and the transmission of knowledge.
“The first stage of the project aims to stabilize the situation of the buildings of the old brickyard: clearing of the South East hall, insulation, renovation of the facades, upgrading of the networks, sanitary facilities, etc. “, explains the Heritage Foundation on its website.
Start of construction in 2023?
“The second stage should make it possible to enhance the outdoor spaces, to protect the biodiversity setting represented by the lake and the gardens. Finally, a renovation and development of the other buildings on the site are planned: development of the mansion into accommodation and modernization of the old stables”, it is added.
“This renovation of the building will bring life to the place, by reducing a space for creation and promotion of artistic and craft talents, in particular from Occitania.”
The overall cost of the project is 2.2 million euros. The work will start in 2023, for end of construction Expected end of 2024.

In total, 13 sites will be helped by the Heritage Mission in Occitania.

- Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Prouilhe in Fanjeaux (Aude): €187,000
- Clairvaux d’Aveyron tower (Aveyron): €71,000
- Dovecote of the Château de Cassagnoles (Gard): €108,000
- Collegiate Church of Saint-Pierre in La Romieu (Gers): €273,000
- Rondé-Oustau brickyard in Muret (Upper Garonne): €300,000
- Abbey of Saint-Savin-en-Lavedan (Hautes Pyrenees): €300,000
- Agricultural domain of Mirabeau in Fabrègues (Herault): €300,000
- Domaine de Marquayrol – the Gardens of Henri Martin in Labastide-du-Vert (Plot): €300,000
- Hotel de Rouvière in Marvejols (Lozere): €300,000
- Fortress of Salvaterra in Opoul-Périllos (Eastern Pyrenees): €96,000
- Windmill and vine hut in Florentin (Tarn): €158,000
- Saint-Martin church in Coutures (Tarn and Garonne): €89,000
