Banque CFM Indosuez and the Oceanographic Institute renew their partnership
More than €350,000 have already been donated to the Oceanographic Institute to help it carry out its various actions.
The duration of the alliance is extended. Mathieu Ferragut, CEO of CFM Indosuez, and Robert Calcagno, CEO of the Oceanographic Institute, signed a new partnership last week for an additional three years. By joining forces, the Oceanographic Institute has made its knowledge available to the bank, which invests in sustainable projects by supporting the blue economy and finance.
At the same time, the bank is committed to supplementing the donations made by its customers through its blue finance offer. Thus, in 2021, €171,000 was donated to the Institute and €186,000 in 2022. Two substantial contributions have helped the Mission Polaire program and its actions in favor of the preservation of the oceans and marine ecosystems.

Raising awareness, a key part of the partnership
Beyond the financial aspect, the partnership also aims to raise the awareness of the bank’s customers and employees by offering them dedicated conferences and private tours of the Oceanographic Museum. Solidarity days will also be organized so that they can participate in the projects carried out by the Institute.
” The Oceanographic Institute and CFM Indosuez share a common ambition, that of a more sustainable future for the planet and the ocean. We look forward to the continuation of this privileged partnership, for its valuable financial contribution and the operational commitment of its employees in our projects. The support of CFM Indosuez is essential for the success of ever stronger collective action and mobilization “explained Robert Calcagno.
