Argentina received a record prize money from FIFA. Poland also earned its share for advancing to the 1/8 finals
World Champions – The Argentina national team will claim the title with 42 free prize money from the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA). This is now a bonus for World Cup winners in history. Four years ago, at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, they were teased with an invitation from FIFA $38 million for the introduction of the trophy.
The losers of this year’s final in Qatar – France have to make do with a $30m FIFA prize fund, up from $440m this year. At the 2018 World Cup, the FIFA prize fund was worth USD 400 million, and the then world runners-up, Croatia, received a bonus of USD 28 million.
Not all of the money from FIFA’s World Cup entrants bonus money gets results, but they do get their overall share.
For example, according to the French sports daily L’Equipe, Kylian Mbappe received a €554,000 ($586,000) bonus from French Football (FFF) for his World Cup recipe. It is known that the prize for the runner-up will be high enough, each player can receive a bonus for creating the Golden Boot for the best young shooter.
