WC 2022: Modrić on Croatian retirement: I will continue until the League of Nations, and then we will see
ANDt 37 years old, Luka Modric secured a bronze medal at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after a 2-1 win over Morocco. The Real Madrid midfielder spoke about his future with Croatia after the game, and has ruled out immediate retirement, at least for now.
“This may be my last match at the World Cup, but I can’t say anything,” he told Gol Mundial. “Of course, I am very satisfied with my career Croatia. To win two medals is very important. My dream was to win the cup, it didn’t happen, but I’m very happy,
