Warns of demanding driving conditions in southern Norway
Danger warnings have been issued in several places in southern Norway on Sunday. For a long time, it has snowed and been cold in several places in southern Norway.
In Eastern Norway in the areas around Oslo, five to 15 centimeters of rain is expected within 24 hours. It can come as both sleet or rain and there is a chance of freezing in coastal areas.
On Saturday, a yellow warning will be issued for snow and slippery roads in parts of Agder as well. The same applies in Western Norway south of Stad until the weekend.
The mild air is not expected to move towards northern Norway, and the current snowy weather will continue.
Towards Sunday, mild weather is expected and this will result in demanding driving conditions in some places.
– During Sunday, temperatures in southern Norway may rise above zero degrees in several places, says meteorologist Susan Reuder to NTB.
– It will further affect the driving conditions. Therefore, people should be extra aware of the driving conditions and pay attention to danger warnings this last weekend before Christmas, says Reuder.
