The Aeroscopia aeronautical museum, in Blagnac (Haute Garonne)West of Toulousea load Manatour to organize activities for children around aviation. Nothing better to change your mind than looking up at the sky. Aeroscopia offers many activities to send the family into the clouds, gain height and lightness for the end of year celebrations.
All facets of aeronautics
Led by Manatour, these activities will punctuate the holidays in December 2022 and introduce neophytes and connoisseurs alike to the 1001 facets of the world of aeronautics.
The entertainment program
In addition to the Aeroscopia museum, which is intended to be discovered, Manatour recommends several passionate appointments, animated mainly by mad scientistswhich “offers fun animations to explain science and robotics to children of all ages”:
- Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 3:30 p.m., one hour will be dedicated to young people from 4 years old (registration at reception on the day of the visit – guided tour €3.50). Told by Céline Molinari, the adventures of Mr. Pirouette Cacahuète, a piloting enthusiast, will take young visitors on a journey punctuated by 5 stopovers and populated by friendly and surprising characters.
- Sunday 18 and Saturday 24 December 2022from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A workshop, access to which is included in the entrance price, offers from the age of 7 “the piloting and discovery of different types of drones in the company of Professor Mysther”: obstacles, piloting, shooting, regulations, programming, rescue, drone racer, precision
- Monday, December 26, 2022, at the same time and from 6 years old, LEGO® will be in the spotlight! A playful and creative discovery of the world of aeronautics seen through the prism of the famous little multicolored bricks to create an ephemeral mini-airport (control tower, runways, planes, footbridges, vehicles, etc.) and discover how it works. On the program: imagination, creativity, construction and always… the joy of learning while playing.
“An initiatory journey through the history of aeronautics”
Friday December 23 and Wednesday December 28, 2022 at 3:45 p.m., a show Les Petits Grains de sel for children (from 7 years old) will take us on the heels of Lisa, a mechanic who invents bicycles and her boyfriend Vincenzo Velivolo. Both have a dream: to create an airplane. How are they going to do it? Will they get there? “An initiatory journey through the history of aeronautics. An aeronautical scientific tale which transports you to meet Icarus, Clement Ader, du Concorde and poetically tackles some fundamental scientific principles of flight”, promises the program (without registration, access included in the entrance price).
Workshops with recycling
Almost every day, workshops will invite the “Pitchounes” to create marvelous objects related to aeronautics (such as kites, planes) with recycled material. Learning while having fun, discovering the world while playing: what if that was also the magic of Christmas?
