VOL.AT is the front runner among regional news services in Austria – Editorial –
The quarterly figures of the Austrian Web Analysis (ÖWA) certify the news platform VORARLBERG ONLINE (VOL.AT) a very good third quarter. Because VOL.AT reaches more users than any other regional news service in Austria.
The news platform can look forward to outstanding reach figures: around 191,000 people use the news portal to find out about events in Vorarlberg and the world every day. VOL.AT thus reached almost 36 percent of the Vorarlberg population every day, which means an increase of 24 percent in the number of unique users compared to the second quarter.
1.9 million visitors use the Russmedia portals
In the summer months of July, August and September, the Russmedia portals (VOL.AT, VIENNA.AT, ländlejob.at, ländleimmo.at, ländleanzeiger.at, …) reach over 28 percent of Austrians and thus everyone fourth Austrian resident: in. Looking at the federal state of Vorarlberg alone, the various Russmedia portals reach 80.8 percent of the Vorarlberg population each month. This is shown by the published ÖWA quarterly figures (quarter 3).
Things are going very well for VOL.AT in the fourth quarter
According to ÖWA figures, the home page of VOL.AT was accessed almost 20 million times in November last month. A total of over 41 million page views were recorded, which shows the great interest of the Vorarlberg population in current events in Vorarlberg and the world.
More than 1.3 million unique users used the Vorarlberg news portal in November of this year. The majority of readers consume the news via their mobile device, directly via the VOL.AT app or via the Internet browser.
837,000 hours in November on VOL.AT
On average, readers spend five minutes on the news platform. In November, the people of Vorarlberg found out more than 837,000 hours on VOL.AT. In the same amount of time, you could watch the Christmas classic Home Alone about 492,505 times.
