The traditional Monaco Christmas tree took place in a good-natured atmosphere. Every year, Monegasque children can come and pick up their gifts at the Prince’s Palace and greet the sovereign couple. This year, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella were in the game. The twins had a lot of fun distributing the gifts.

The traditional Monegasque Christmas tree takes place in a North Pole setting in the Cour d’honneur of the Prince’s Palace
A few years ago, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella got into the habit of participating in the Christmas tree. This is an event that only the Principality of Monaco can pride itself on organizing. All Rocher children between the ages of 5 and 12 who have registered in advance can come and collect a gift. No question of receiving only a bag full of treats. The children distribute themselves with real gifts, such as a doll, a backpack or construction games.
Jacques and Gabriella very happy to please other children
On December 14, 2022, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II appeared in the Court of Honor of the Prince’s Palace with their twins, then announced the start of the distribution of gifts.
Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who turned 8 a few days ago, seemed perfectly in their element Jacques and Gabriella marveled at some toy boxes they were handing out to other children. Throughout the event, Christmas music was played to ensure the festive atmosphere.
Father Christmas was also invited to the party this Thursday and helped distribute the gifts because it is still nearly 700 children who were spoiled. Weather permitting, the distribution takes place outside, like this year. The Cour d’honneur is then decorated according to a theme. In 2022, the winter theme was quite classic because the decorations plunged children and their parents into the world of the North Pole. Animated polar bears, snowy fir trees, penguins and reindeer sat in the yard.
Princess Gabriella and Hereditary Prince Jacques were once again very complicit during this event. Gabriella wore a blue coat that matched her mom’s long cape. As for the Marquis des Baux, he wore a long gray coat and a scarf like his father. In 2020, the Monegasque Christmas tree made a lot of noise. It was during this event that the Princess Charlene appeared for the first time with one side of her head shaved.
