the Van Gogh exhibition registers 150,000 visitors
The exhibition has taken over the EDF Bazacle spaces since July 6th. Since then, it has become one of the key activities of the moment. A Toulouse, Van Gogh’s immersive exhibition, has brought together thousands of visitors since its inauguration. Another masterstroke of Dutch genius.

150,000 visitors to the Van Gogh exhibition
Organized by Exhibition Hub, theVan Gogh exhibition in Toulouse never ceases to seduce art lovers and novices alike. Dedicated to the work of the Dutch genius, “The Imersive Experience” traces the life and works of a painter who needs no introduction. An experience combining aesthetics with digital to immerse visitors in the universe of the painter at 360 degrees. Thus, they can be part of more than 300 sketches, drawings and paintings by Van Gogh.
A fruitful concept since theexhibition counts more than 150,000 visitors since its installation. The success of theVan Gogh exhibition in Toulouse was predictable. The event has already shown promise since its inception. In the space of 40 days of exhibition, more than 50,000 visitors followed one another at the doors of the EDF Bazacle space. A success that does not stop at the borders of the pink city. Indeed, it seems that no matter where the exhibition is deployed, the Dutch genius dresses the crowds. Having passed through many cities in Europe and the United States, the event gathered more than 2 million visitors in 2021.
Extended hours
On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, the exhibition will exceptionally welcome the general public until midnight on Sunday 25 December. A sacred gift for art lovers. Hours will also be extended:
- December 18: 9am-11pm
- December 19 to 23: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- December 24: 9am-4pm
- December 25: 3 p.m. – Midnight
- December 26 to 30: 10am-11pm
- December 31: 9am-4pm
- January 1: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Note that the last entries are always one hour before closing time. Building on its success, theVan Gogh exhibition had already played extra time. While it was to pack up at the end of September 2022, it is accessible until January 23, 2023.
