On to Pandora! Fans have been waiting for this moment for over a decade – after 13 years, James Cameron and Jon Landau take them on an epic journey to the most impressive planet. Avatar: The Way of Water premiered December 13th at the Cineplexx Millennium City. As of today, not only the blockbuster awaits cinema guests, but also a unique, blue cinema experience and numerous specials at the cinema buffet.
The exciting story full of thrills goes into the next round: In “Avatar: The Way of Water”, the second part of the most successful film of all time, cinema fans experience a brilliant adventure together with the Sully family. James Cameron and Jon Landau once again offer a unique spectacle full of action, science fiction and first-class effects. This time, too, Avatar takes the cinema world to new levels and takes viewers to other, unprecedented spheres.
300 guests, who were welcomed with an exclusive video message from the film cast, were able to see this for themselves at yesterday’s Austrian premiere in the Cineplexx Millennium City. Thanks to Dolby Cinema, the blockbuster was recorded in the absolute premium cinema experience. Presenter Sasa Schwarzjirg was also enthusiastic and spoke of the “premier class” of the cinema experience. Not only the film caused euphoria – the Cineplexx cinemas throughout Austria are currently showing themselves from a different side: instead of appearing in the color red, Cineplexx Avatar wraps itself in blue in honor, both on the well-known social media channels, the newsletter and the website. A successful Austrian premiere, which was even coordinated with James Cameron personally in advance. The premiere guests also walked across a blue carpet to the VIP reception before toasting the evening with snacks from Cineplexx and drinks from Malfy Gin and Römerquelle.
“With ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, the cinema world experiences a real big bang at the end of the year. The impressive cinematic masterpiece creates emotions and shows what cinema can do,” says Christian Langhammer, CEO/main shareholder of Constantin Film & Cineplexx Kinobetriebe.
