Turkey’s attractiveness broke records
Turkey’s tow truck exports broke a record by exceeding 1 billion 534 million dollars in 11 months. According to the regulation made from the Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association (OIB) data, Turkey’s automotive sector realized 27 billion 841 million 610 thousand exports in the January-November period. Attractive exports, one of the sub-groups of the automotive sector, increased by 73.43 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 1 billion 534 million 325 thousand dollars from 884 million 679 thousand dollars. In the January-November period, the export of tractors exceeded 1 billion 28 million 981 thousand dollars in 2021, when the highest export was made, and was recorded as the highest figure in the Republican periods.
Most exports to Germany, Poland and France
Tow trucks produced in Turkey, electrical energy was sent to the European Union (EU). More than 50 percent of tractor exports in 11 years of this year reached Germany, Poland, France and Spain. 11-month foreign sales to Germany increased by 34 percent compared to the same expectations of the previous year, from 197 million 936 thousand dollars to 265 million 396 thousand dollars. Exports to Poland, the most attractive destination after Germany, increased by 25 percent from 154 million 931 thousand dollars to 193 million 698 thousand dollars. In the third place, the export of tractor trucks to France increased by 122 percent from 79 million 63 thousand dollars to 176 million 134 thousand dollars. Spain ranked fourth with an increase of 62 percent and 150 million 973 thousand dollars. In the region where Germany, Poland, and Spain are located, exports of 786 million 203 thousand tractors accounted for more than half of the total sales. When Italy went to the fifth place, attractive sales reached 126 million 317 thousand dollars from 97 million 447 thousand dollars with a 29.6 percent increase.
In the 11-month period of this year, the bases of the countries with million dollars and more of foreign sales were sent to 7 countries in the same period of this year, where tractors were not exported in the same period of the previous year. 107 million 85 thousand to the United Kingdom, where tractor exports were not made in January-November period last year, 32 million 499 thousand to Norway, 14 million 198 thousand to Sweden, 10 million 706 thousand to Ireland, 8 million 333 thousand to Iran, 2 million 948 thousand shippers were exported to Australia and 1 million 818 thousand to New Zealand.
