Crypto donations: the Toulouse Cancer Santé Foundation has funded 10 projects since 2020
To your good heart – Still mostly singled out, cryptocurrencies have a tough life in the public sphere. Although France has put in place a regulatory framework around these digital assets via the Pacte law, they are still frowned upon. If some are struggling, yet to see their social usefulness, here is a concrete example.

Cryptocurrencies to fund research
Created in 2007 by the former Minister of Health Philippe Douste-Blazy, the Toulouse Cancer Health Foundation has since counted 12.6 million euros, which has funded 50 research projects.
Individuals, businesses and now “crypto bros” can participate in the funding effort. You can even do it in style, thanks to the operation of the house maachi.
The covid crisis and the slowdown in the national economy have slowed down donations between 2020 and 2021. The foundation has decided to relaunch a donation campaign, including the possibility of showing its generosity in crypto tokens.
And this latest fundraising campaign seems to have paid off. Indeed, since the year 2020, approximately 1.6 million euros have been accounted for. Enough to finance ten research projects concerning pancreatic cancer, breast cancer or lung cancer.
To participate, go to the page CryptoDePhi (Decentralized philanthropy) of the foundation. There are four options for crypto donations: Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, and Litecoin. Take out the wallets!
