Racing Shows: Supercars 2 has started at Autoworld Brussels
The theme exhibition Supercars 2 opened in Brussels Autoworld on Friday 9 December. Given the enormous success of the first edition in 2021, the organizers decided to continue this year. Last year the exhibition was visited by no fewer than 65,000 car enthusiasts. This year the emphasis was on the cars that were allowed on public roads and the racing variants. Either the homologation variant of the number built must be to go racing. Of course we will of course also take a take away.

The exhibited cars come from the collections of collectors of international museums. Set up like this, for example, Mercedes and Porsche have a few cars available, such as the famous C111 Prototype from 1969 with which the brand of the three-pointed star actually wanted to find itself back in motorsport and the unique “Baby Porsche” with which Jacky Ickx competed in the DRM 2L class in 1977. made history during the supporting program of the German GP. Unfortunately, that car will not return to the circuits after that possible victory, but it is still a popular exhibition object.
After the previous theme exhibition 75 years of Ferrari, Autoworld gave a small follow-up there. Well worth it. In addition to the exhibition, two competition simulators will be placed between December 24, while a photo competition was also organized for the creative types among the visitors. Also described at Autoworld in advance the following exhibitions, two of which are already particularly interesting for motorsport enthusiasts. In total, more than 50 special cars can be admired in Autoworld and the themed exhibition road vs. race edition lasts until 29 January 2023
