The TOGETHER Assembly could boast of a truly exclusive participation. In addition to Mikuláš Dzurinda, it was attended by opposition MP Ondrej Dostál (SaS), Juraj Šeliga and Jana Žitňanská from Za lúdí, Martin Klus, a defector from the Liberals, General Pavel Macko from the ODS, as well as Prime Minister Eduard Heger. He also made a speech and called on Kollár to vote against the motion of no confidence in his government next week.
Only democratic parties will be Slovakia’s democracy. That is why we need that even in the next parliamentary elections, which will take place, I believe, in February 2024, not a single democratic vote will pass. That’s why we have to have a common plan so that the mafia doesn’t come back,” Heger addressed the parliamentarians of the party along with the fact that therefore he cannot “eat” among themselves. He thanked one of the members of the Spolu party for his support in parliament. “I am grateful to you that we can work together, Slovakia needs it,” he finished his speech at the Diet.

“The fact that there is interest in our dream is also because Slovakia is going through a turbulent period,” Kollár continued, recalling the war in Ukraine, rising inflation, and the pandemic. “We are waiting, and we don’t know when, parliamentary elections. We have an idea when the presidential and European Parliament elections will be,” said Kollár, saying that in these elections he will decide both the future of Slovakia and the entire European Union.
Survey
Do you think that the government of Eduard Heger will fall?
The day before the dream, for the newspaper Plus ONE DAY, Kollár told how it looks with his vote of no confidence in the government. According to him, he has not yet decided. “Talking about it before the debate with our colleagues takes place would not be very correct. So you will not publish my position in advance. What I personally do not want is the replacement of one chaos with another chaos.” he told us.
However, after the Diet, he will definitely announce how he will approach the appeal. Miroslav Kollár will not vote for the fall of the government. “We have 363 good reasons why this government should not continue, but I see this SaS proposal as an irresponsible gamble with the future of the country,” announced on our side. He added that he is ready for a proper discussion about holding early elections in the fall of 2023.

“We have to take into account the geopolitical and foreign future of this country. If we can praise this government for something, it is foreign policy,” said MEP Vladimír Bilčík. This is also why Spolu places so much emphasis on the controlled end of this government. According to Bilčík, on Tuesday, the parliament will not only discuss the orderly end of the government, but also the continuation of foreign policy.
“The priority is that not a single vote of a democratic voter is lost. The next elections will again be civilizational elections, decisions will be made about how Slovakia will develop in the next ten to twenty years,” said Kollár. According to him, it would be irresponsible for the government to fall without a plan for what happens next.
