Shower of medals for the San Marino federal gymnastics delegation at the International Tournament “31.New Year Cup Moste 2022 and 6. Mini Cvetka 2022” in Slovenia.
The San Marino team, accompanied bycoach Luna Casadeifrom the judge Lucia Castiglioni and from head of delegation Alexander Ambrogianiwas composed of gymnasts Gloria Ambrogiani, Eva Bombagioni, Sara Ceccoli, Emma Fratti, Matilde Tamagnini and Ludovica Vannoni.
All of them have shown that they are ready to face this type of competition, including the youngest Emma, Ludovica and Sara, making their international debut representing the San Marino Gymnastics Federation.
Although not all the exercises were “clean” and although some athletes were returning from an illness that compromised their last training sessions, the results were satisfactory.
In the category Mini Tsvetka A 2011, Sarah Ceccoliafter a splendid competition on two exercises, ball and clubs, he finished at 1st place in the general classification and conquered a gold at the rope and a bronze at the clubs.
Ludovica Vannoni, cat. Mini Cvetka A 2012, took home a gold with a good exercise on the rope and a bronze in the hoop, finishing in fifth position in the general classification.
In the end, Emma Fratti, pre-junior A (2010–2009)clean and focused, she conquered a bronze for hoop and a silver for clubsending in fourth position in the general classification.
In the category Young Elites (2009-2007)with the complete program on four tools and with some small uncertainty in the execution of the individual exercises, Gloria Ambrogiani finished at sixth place in the general classificationgrazing the podium at the hoop, while Eva Bombagioni followed the team company to the seventh place in the general classification after the good scores especially to the hoop and the ball.
To conclude the competition was Matilde Tamagninicategory Senior elite. After an exercise in the hoop, which ended with some loss of apparatus, the blue-and-white gymnast rediscovered the grit that characterizes her and snatched a bronze on ball and a bronze on ribbonpositioning himself fourth in the general classification.
With the participation in this international tournament in Slovenia, the federal competitive year of rhythmic gymnastics in San Marino ends, which saw the athletes involved in various competitions, but already ready to open the new year with the participation in prestigious events already scheduled .
