Bad weather in Lisbon fueled tonight at Hospital São Francisco Xavier. CNN Portugal knows that one of the ceilings of this hospital has caved in and there are several floors flooded.
Lieutenant-Colonel Tiago Lopes, from the Lisbon Fire Sappers Regiment, also confirmed this information on CNN Meia-Noite’s broadcast: “At Hospital São Francisco Xavier there was also a flood situation”.

It is also known that the surgery block at Hospital de Santa Cruz, in Carnaxide, is flooded.
The Civil Protection page registered at 00:16, more than 60 occurrences in the Lisbon region, due to bad weather. The most affected municipalities are Lisbon, Oeiras and Sintra, where Civil Protection registers the most occurrences.
The commander of Sapadores Firefighters in Lisbon, Tiago Lopes, meanwhile asked people from Lisbon not to leave their homes due to the formation of water sheets on the road due to the heavy rains that are felt in the city.
